About The Award
One of the key aims of Onside is to build stronger communities through the development of community networks and through support for community action and involvement. The Lesley McKay Stronger Communities Award, launched in 2014, is in memory of our dear friend and colleague.
We all have a story about someone who takes the initiative and achieves something positive; something that makes a difference to others. Here’s the chance to give them the recognition they deserve. We are looking for an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to sustainable change in their community in Worcestershire or Herefordshire. We welcome nominations for people in any organisation, whether they are an employee or a volunteer.
How to Nominate
To make a nomination please fill out an application form below. Nominations must be submitted by 21st July 2018. The judges will advise shortlisted candidates during August 2018 and the winner will be announced by the end of that month. The award will be presented at our prestigious Onside Ideas Exchange & AGM on Wednesday 12th September 2018.
