Reconnections: tackling loneliness across Worcestershire

The Reconnections service operates across Worcestershire, helping people aged 50 and over on a one-to-one basis to build confidence, rediscover old interests or try new things, and change their lives for the better. We know how difficult it can be to feel lonely, and how hard it is to even think that change is possible. By carefully matching people with a local volunteer, we help people to take steps towards change at a pace that suits them.

Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire are the managing partner in this initiative and they provide the service in partnership with other local partners.

Onside provides the Reconnections services across Bromsgrove and Redditch. We would love to hear from anyone in these areas who would like to help us change lives through volunteering as a mentor.
